About Us

Metal Innovations Inc.was founded in January of 1996 by owners Kim and Craig Wilmes. The company began in a very small shop with no employees and quickly grew by capturing work on F-28 Over Wing Emergency Exits, receiving a contract to handle all aspects of modification on the Exits.

MII now boasts capabilities in all areas of repair and manufacture, and calls the Aurora State Airport its home as of 2003. Our expansive facility covers almost 30,000 square feet of room and the most qualified staff in the business to help you get your project off the ground and back in the air.
